Nice, I would recommend you get the Off-Road package. When I buy another Tacoma, it will be a 4x4 with the OR Package.

As requested, here are some pictures of the exhaust on stock pipes. The exhaust is so long (27") I could not take a full picture. It would be better if the truck was on a lift so I can take a good overall picture of the muffler.

    Looks good

I think of going with round muffler as opposed to oval muffler.

I am thinking of going with the least restrictive and longest muffler I can fit under the truck. Aligning the tailpipe is not an issue, since my exhaust is cut...

I am also going to cut the 2nd cat and replace it with straight pipe. Should yield about 3-6whp and better exhaust note...

Nice. Be sure to post a video when you are done with your setup, I am curious on how it will sound on a 4 banger.

Thanks! I need to wait for $$$ to do some more MODs. :)

Total backspace with my wheels is 4.5" (-19mm offset and 3.75" BS.)

What wheel are you looking at? Do you have the part number? Also what size tire do you plan on running?

thanks for answering this one and answer on c17guys build haha:thumbsup:

the bs is 4.5 but im not sure about the offset ill have to ask that too. the wheels are cragers, idk what model but like the 98 series pro comps, the tires are 31x10.5 km2's:D they are for sale on craigslist here for 800 which i think is a good deal so i am trying to scoop them up

edit: the offset is -13 and the bs is actually 4"

Awesome Taco! You and StupidHurts are two of my favorite trucks. Got a quick question. Did you ever find out if any coilover setup can be used with the stock UCAs? Want to avoid spacers (heard and read bad things) and looks like a coilover is my only alternative. Don't want to have to spend close to 3k (coilovers, uca's, rear AALs/shocks, etc.) just to raise my truck a few inches. Thanks!

Did you purchase the wheels and tires?

Thanks! You will need to replace the UCA because the coilover will rub on the stock UCAs. The spacers did exactly what I wanted, lift the truck which allowed me to run some big tires. IMO, the spacer lift is not too bad. I plan to purchase UCAs and coilovers in January.
