I've done plenty of research and I didn't come up with much. I was wondering if I could get a little help.

Coming home today on a 2 hour drive I got a CEL. Which is not uncommon because I've been battling some evap issues. When I pulled off of the interstate to get gas I broke out my code reader to clear the code. That is when I saw I had a P1780. This code refers to the neutral safety switch.

Does anyone have much experience with this code? I cleared the code and I haven't had any problems since. The only thing I have been battling is a driver side brake light that I cannot get to work. The bulb is fine. I didn't know if the neutral safety switch could take out only one brake light or not.

Besides the driver side brake light being out I am experiencing no other issues.

    Thanks for the help.
