Depends what time you are pulling through town. But if it is during business hours I can make it work. Shoot me a PM.

It was nice meeting you Justin. Drive safe and let me know how the snow is in Park City so I can decide if me and wife will head there while I am off between jobs!

Great build OP! This is the direction I am taking my rig (pretty much to the letter). Its my DD so I have to stay pretty conservative. I had a question about how you are loaded out. What do you think about the rigid cases? Decent protection from the elements? Also, one of the photos looks like the rifle case is your camp kitchen gear, am I correct?

Again, great build and info. Subbing to this!

Thanks. The Rigid cases can not be beat for the money. I have since purchased some large Pelican cases which are much nicer, but for the money not sure they are worth it unless you can find them used (like I did) at a lower price.

You are correct my camp kitchen is in a rifle case. It is nice because it fits into skinny places in the bed, or on top between the rack and other boxes. It ends up being a very versatile size which makes it fit in odd places better than a big square box. Plus I can put it on the roof rack if the bed is full.

Next time you are headed out would you mind snapping a pick of this? I'm curious if my stuff would fit in one. Thanks!

Sure. I have a stove, cutting board, nested pots and pans, utensils, knives, spices, plates, cups, and some other odds and ends. Pretty much everything except propane aND food.

Build is looking great! I keep going back and forth on if I should lift or not. I'm kind of scared to do it, but these trucks just look so good with a little lift and some slightly bigger tires.

Yeah I only have 1" or so frent and rear. It is perfect for my liking. I'm not a fan of big lifts.

Thanks! You as well. Sorry I haven't been on here since I left CA. I just skied PC yesterday. Holy cow..... if you can make it out here while they have this storm going on it's amazing. The locals were saying they haven't had snow like this in over 5 years.

Good idea. I have a full normal screwdriver set but you are right a big one can be used for many tasks. Thanks.

OP, how secure is your gear with the CBI rack? I'm torn about which way to go, cbi, kbvoodoo, relentless, rci racks. Leaning towards kbvoodoo because it seems that the sidewalls are a good way to keep honest people honest...

Big items are pretty secure. Coolers, boxes, etc would be almost impossible to remove from the bed of the truck.

It's a bit cold this morning in Elko. I drove my wife's FJ since it gets parked inside during the night. And I didn't feel like making my truck suffer through warming up this morning. Truth is maybe I'm the one that didn't want to suffer.20170106_073112.jpg

I can. Seems like we see a couple of days every year below -22 F. It's cold though for sure. No way to plan for -22.
