Of course, got the H11 plugs today, installed them today.

One of the ARB fog lights was missing most of one wire, it was just a nub sticking out the back of the lens cover. Pulled it apart and put on a nice long lead, both of them got done up like this.

Cant solder to save my life, but I can use these sweet little joiner things, heat shrink, and spiral wire loom:thumbsup:

Fogs all hooked up and good to go.

My place of work makes kayaks, paddle boats, canoe's and some other things. They are applied to some of the water toys. They are marine grade stainless 3/4" D rings I think. I just get to pick them up out of a bin by the handful :bananadead:

I pay for them, just not a lot

@tacoma16 You did such an amazing job on the receiver plate. Just look how perfect it is.

The license plate mount that I got from @Norilsk sits in a beautiful position.

Even better than I imagined this working out.:cookiemonster:

Grade 8 hardware installed, should be on there forever now  Which is good, since with the modifications I have made to the front end of the truck to get this thing to fit. There is no going back. :anonymous:

I like the ARB bumper passenger side mount for the Firestik CB antenna. Very team Australia

    Moved the wiring to it.

Have been so busy with getting the bumper all perfectly installed, I have not been out wheeling at all :annoyed:

Decided to go learn how to use my high clearance bumper a little. From just the bit I tried yesterday, this thing has added a new level of fun AF to the truck. :bananadance:

The black flies were so bad though, could'nt really do much. I am a very hands on, eye's on kind of learner. Have to take my truck put it places, get out look at wtf is where. Do again and again.....and again. I love it.

Could not get out to do my learning the bugs were that bad.:bananadead:

Guess I forgot to put these pics up last summer. When I open my doors, you get beautiful orange accents from the sil protectors and these covers. I really dig the look.

I dont even know what this item it is called, access cab door latch cover? I got them included in a box of stuff I bought from @Norilsk

Of course the were chrome, I painted them orange. :cookiemonster:

Took the afternoon off and managed to get into auto counter at Bumper to Bumper, they know their shit and I needed someone to help me.

He knew exactly what part I needed the moment I explained my issue and showed him what I had.

The fender holes are no longer open and gaping.

These christmas tree panel retainers are perfect for both the different size holes. You just push a bit harder on the smaller holes and they fit right in. No slop or play in them, exact fit.

Now I will need to know wtf it looks like with orange ones, going to have to buy some more and paint them.

    :woot:

Going wheeling today, it has been raining for 2 days straight so the bush should have no dust like last weekend.

    That mud though. :sadviolin:

We are going to adjust the bumper before we head out to the trails. Need my buddies help to get 10mm clearance on each side at the fenders.

Pic and vid spam will come later, I want to use the new recovery boards today. That should be fun.:spy:

I am pretty glad we corrected the bumper fender gap today before we went out. I had not noticed that the bumper had already been making contact with the fender. Wore some of the vinyl wrap off at the contact points on each side.

Now a finger width gap on each side seems to have corrected it.

This is not sand, I should have checked wtf this was before plunging my truck down into it.:smack:
Looks just like sand until you look at it close, the particles are much much larger. I could barely walk in it.

    Much crabbing:taco:

Found another one I liked enough to upload :cookiemonster:

The green right now in the bush here is almost a neon green, everything exploded to life in the last 2 weeks.

This little section was beautiful and the rock face climbs are different than much of the other trails on VMUTS.

Look a muddy line and not muddy line. :anonymous:

Something I am doing is causing me to get dirt in my rims on the regular. Thinking it is going maybe 5 PSI or so to low while messing in the mud or sand.

I have been getting to the trails and airing down to 15 PSI front / 13 PSI rear

Going to try raising it up and see if it corrects the issue I have.

Went out to get groceries in the morning on Sunday with the wife in her CRV, and noticed trucky had a flat o_O

When we got home I started to mess around with it and find out whats up.

Your beads should not blow bubbles. :bananadead:

Chased the leak around the rim a bit. Once I got it clear in one spot it seem to get some crap loose farther down the bead.

Eventually got it cleaned out. Getting pretty good at this technique. :cookiemonster:

Decided I want to start learning a bit more about what the truck can do. I have babied it so far, never run it hard on washboard or anything. Yesterday I did. 60 ~ 70KM/h on some of the roughest fireroad I have run yet. 25km of it each way to the beach we went to.

Had the FLIR ready when I stopped to get the most accurate temp of the items. Stopped the truck, hopped out and snapped pics.

    24 PSI front / 22 PSI rear

Rear shocks were the hottest of anything, I am not sure what a failure point of them is. Need to figure that out.

yeah, you need to replace those 5100s if you plan on doing that often, they won’t live long at high speed driving, 5160 are good I heard.

FOX 2.0 is good too, been doing 100-120 on dirt roads and they handle ride smooth and keeps it under control. I’ll be going to FOX 2.5 later to bump my speed up lol.
