Never go 10,000 miles on Oil change! It will start burning oil!

    Our fleet 2nd gen 4cyl Tacoma's all went over 300k before we retired them. all had 10k OCI with the cheap bulk synthetic. Most the time the oil changes were extended past the 10k. Never had a motor problem with any of them.

    I change oil & filter annually. That’s probably 7-8K mileage.

    now have 51K on my 2017. That’s 77 months of service.

    Stock (99.999%) OEM Bed Floor Mat, Front Bed Rail Cargo Net and hooks, Auto-Dim mirror w/Compass and outside Temperature display, TRD Pro Grille, Uni-Filter air pump modification, WeatherTech floor liners f/r. (winter) OEM All-Weather floor mats (summer).
    Not sure what is going on now but: right now you can buy OEM Toyota oil filters online from a dealer for $4 to $7 dollars each or walk up to the counter: $6 to $8 each. Denso plugs are another example: $6-8 each at the counter or if you pay them to change, $4-6 online from well-known dealers. Paying more at the counter is usually still cheaper or even than the added shipping charges and they may match the internet prices once they get to know you and you're not some pest. A sale is a sale.
