The result of this punch could be life changing for all involved actions didn't warrant results.I witnessed something just like this about 5 years ago where a guy punched another guy, guy fell back broke his neck now in a wheel chair for life guy who punched the guy is doing 20 years actions have consequences .

I'm not confused about anything. I just see things differently than you do. And you ALMOST have a valid point but he didn't kill him- he didn't even knock him out. You can see him lean over him and say something after he hits the ground. And while it's POSSIBLE to kill somebody with one punch, if very very specific things happen, its HIGHLY unlikely. And I'm very aware of what can possibly happen during a fist fight - but thanks for checking.

Anyhow, if your opinion is that the only time it's ok to hit somebody is when you're toe to toe and sober please have a friend take a vid if you ever find someone pissing on your truck and upload it here. I'd love to see you walk up to the guy and tell him that you're pissed that he's pissing on your truck, but since you won't hit a drunk guy please contact you at his earliest sober convenience so you can meet up and duke it out.
Which, just so you're aware, isn't justified by any court in this country either. Mutual combat is still a crime and you'll still wind up in cuffs if you get caught.

Amen. None of you know the exact circumstances shown in the video. If it was truly your Taco,
would you really "ask the perp" "what he was doing?" Hell NO. Would you politely ask them to
"Stop"? Again, Hell No. Would you be pissed "as all get out"? Hell yes! So, would you just ask "why?",
or would you have something to say? Better yet, pretend your Taco was your "girl" What would you do then?

Hell ya I would be pissed off! However, I have enough self control and maturity not to battery a stupid drunk guy over pissing on my truck. I would certainly have some words for him etc... Pissing on your girl or starting shit with one's family is a completely different ball game. Violence is certainly not the answer here based on what the video shows...

 

Not clear to me from the video exactly what that guy is doing to his truck. If he was pissing on the truck or trying to break in, I would have beat his ass also. These days too many young people grow up without ever having to be held accountable for their actions. Parents don't discipline them, teachers don't either. As teenagers the criminal justice system just slaps them on the wrist for crimes. Look at the youth of today and tell me I'm wrong.

Like I said, I know personally of 2 cases. I even know one of the guys personally. 1 punch outside a bar. Guy fell dead. Both cases. If you say it's HIGHLY unlikely though, well I guess there's no arguing with that. Also, consensually fighting isn't illegal. Anyway... your mind's made up.

There's a difference between being justified in your own mind by rage, and actually being legally justified in doing something. I'd be more concerned with the one that determines whether I go to prison. If you think that's lame, then go ahead and kick the shit out of some drunk and get thrown in jail to teach some guy a lesson.

Prisons are full of people who are convinced they had a good reason for committing their crime. World's full of idiots. There were 2 in that video.
