Never top off your gas tank

YAWN!

 

Not too many years ago, Lamborghini stated in the owner's manual, explicitly not to top off. Due to the fact that the gas would overflow into the catalytic converter and burn the car down. For the American cars that is.

 

What is even going on here? Just put gas at the gas station and live life to the fullest. Haha.

Here's the cheat sheet: When you are filling up, let the nozzle auto-click and stop, and then pull the nozzle out. Don't keep filling up.

 

I give it 10 clicks then call it good.

 

It’s another “we need to all shitz our pants” thread for an issue Ive never even heard in this forum even after over a year reading it.

 

If you need a cheat sheet for filling up then you probably shouldn't be operating a vehicle.

This about like the young lady checking me out at the grocery store last night and couldn't figure out how to keep a bag from ripping with three 1.5 liter bottles of water. After a couple of tries and ripped bags, I had to tell her to put less in the bag.

 

Wait....critical thinking isn't inate nor taught on tiktoc???? Ugh

 

This one time, at band camp... I filled my gas tank. And not I have wrote about it on the intardnet. Go me!
