New 09 4x4 DC Sport Pricing

Located in the midwest and hoping to purchase:

• 2009 Double Cab 4x4
• Automatic
• Sport Package (no jbl)
• Towing Package

Ive done the Edmunds & True Car thing as well as lurked around the other Tacoma forums. Searched around here for a "Prices Paid - Buying Experience" style thread and didnt see one...so hopefully Im not out of line asking.

Hoping to poll the local wisdom on approximately what I should hope to get this vehicle at before TTL etc. Looking for a realistic figure, not a "shoot for the moon" best case scenario. Im trying to figure out what I should offer and what I should budget for. Any thoughts or direction would be greatly appreciated!

I bought the exact same truck 3 months ago for $28,600 out the door (tax , etc.)

Search for "price OTD" you will get more than enough threads to read of buyer experiences.

 

I got the price of the truck down to $27k before TTL

Searched exactly that and only got 3 responses...one being this thread, the other two both with last posts in '08.

 

FWIW when I looked up price OTD for threads I found numerous threads, a couple from this month actually. Did you check the THREAD box or POST?

Anyways, I'm currently eying up a Magnetic grey access cab TRD Sport 4x4. Sticker is 29.8k. If it's still there when I return from vacation I may make them an offer.

 

Nice! That MG is a damn sharp color. Ill try another search...I did an advanced search under both titles as well as posts and only got the three...

EDIT: Hmm...searched both the Thread and Post and again got three in threads, and only 6 in post...2 of which were '07 threads and one was '08 (the rest were this thread)

 

Yea it's really the only color I want. And, I think I may see your problem....are you actually putting the quotes around price OTD? In other words are you typing "price otd" in the search? Cause when I do that I only get 3 results either. Type it without the quotes and you get alot of results.

That 27.6 with TTL? What was your MSRP?

 

MSRP was $31,179
TTL was ~$180

 

Wow. In MN the taxes alone would be about $1800 and then title-lic around $300.

 

took delivery of mine on the 4th of last month. walked away with it for $28.5k after TT&L. MSRP was $31,125.

the tow package is automaticaly included with the either TRD package on the 09s.

 

One more reason I left! I miss my family though!

I don't recall seeing too many without the tow package, though this could be a regional thing.

 

Just bought a brand new 09 Tacoma TRD Sport double cab 4x4 auto with tow package in Magnetic Grey for $26,995 USD out the door in MN. I am Canadian, and you cannot get this configuration in Canada, that plus comparing to $40,000 Canadian for a long box up here, I saved a ton of money!

 

Holy shit yeah...In Texas my tax was over a grand for sure. $180 is a fantasy.
