    I'm buying an 09 TRD today and was wondering about lifts. What's involved with lifting 2-3"? I have a couple of Jeeps and there are inherent issues with drive line vibs and tracking issues. Anything of that nature with the Tacoma? I've just never lifted a truck that did not have a solid front axle.

    Yeah...It's more or less hit or miss without a real pattern anyone has found yet. With a 3 inch lift you may need to swap out for aftermarket Upper Control Arms to fix alignment, might need a sway bar spacer, differential drop, axle shims, ect...but it's not guaranteed.
