I've been a member for a while but never posted so this is my first. This is my 2000 Prerunner V6 Tacoma running on 240k plus miles and still runs like new. I've had it for about 2 years and recently got this paint job and bodywork. The guy before used it as a work truck and it was pretty messed up when I got it. Since the job, I've wanted to do more to the truck to make it more pretty. IMG_0945.jpg IMG_0944.jpg

    What I've done:
    - Blinker/fog light conversion
    - New headlights, taillights & "fog" lights
    - Painted the front bumper & grille emblem black
    - New tires
    - Aftermarket keyless entry and alarm
    - Aftermarket stereo
    - New sound system and 2 12' Kickers
    - 5% tint in rear and xtra cab windows, 25% in the front windows

    What I want:
    - Suspension, I like the ride height right now but I'd rather very much get a lift. Preferably a cheaper one but with quality. Also, I think the miles are getting to the suspension because this thing rides like HELL. You can feel any imperfections in the road and bounces dramatically on any bump. I've noticed it's mainly the front where all the hell comes from. Any recommendations for the suspension would be GREATLY appreciated.
    - Sound system, I've "upgraded" to some cheap aftermarket Amazon speakers. Very disappointed. They can be loud I will give them that, but sounds horrible. Looking for 4 speakers that are good quality for the price. I already have a good pioneer stereo that came with the truck.
    - Seat swap, I have the 60/40 bench seat with the stupid "armrest" or whatever the hell it is. The condition is getting at the age of tears in the cloth. Tried looking for 4runner seats, stupid rare. I have a buddy of mine that can weld and do whatever to make any seat fit so any cheap set of seats can work.

Just taking it one step at a time, any other ideas for this truck will be appreciated :).

For your aftermarket speakers, I have a single 10 inch Kicker subwoofer and wow that thing is awesome! Loud as I'll ever want it while retaining super high quality. Kicker also makes in-door speakers which I have as well and highly recommend.

I am currently also trying to lift my 2004 Tacoma, I decided on the Bilstein 5100 struts on the front and I will leave the rear alone for now. Depending on how much you want to lift it, you can pair the Bilstein 5100s with Old Man Emu coils for a higher (and possibly smoother) ride.

Given your interest in the appearance of the vehicle, aftermarket wheels can help a lot with that too. Method, VTX, Relations, and Unique are just a few brands out there.

Looks like a great project, good luck with your build!
