    3" lifted. Nothing more !!
    Hey everyone.
    I am very pleased to find Tacoma World.
    I bought a 98 manual Taco sr5 4x4 v6 few months ago. With only 130k miles. I love the look of it and riding it as wel . I will slowly work on to keep it as original as I can. I bought it already lifted (3") and love it that way. I am no mechanic but I am a DIY kind of guy as much as I can. First thing that failed was the exaust system (rusted as hell and never changed probably) gifted it a gibson T-409 and installed it my self. Now its giving me couple more issues. 1 there's a knocking(almost sounds like hammering) sound when it comes to the end of stoping the car when breaking and 2 I have birds singing when in 1st gear 2nd gear and the higher the speed the less I hear it. It only happens when I accelerate. I am looking forward to learn from you and get advice about what would be my best move to take care of this beauty I have no records of this truck and the maintenance it had before . it looks in pretty neat condition the frame Has very little rust despite the years in the midwest winters I will brush all of it and coat it. Got to go....... kids at home.
