Ordered these a couple months back and then waited 2 months to put them on. Such a nice upgrade from the 3 inch spacers. So far I love them. I’ll report back after some off road use. Boom
    :bananadead:

I installed them. Put tires back on and drove it around the block. Jacked up the front and hung the tires so I could adjust it with the included spanner tool. Not maxed but close. I like the height now. I got them tuned with 700lb coils

When I removed the OEM struts I took some time to grease up my JBA UCAs

How are you liking them? I have the same with 650 springs. They are great shock but really stiff from the go.

I love them but have a 100lb winch and 100lb bumper. and Sliders, They are still better than the spacers by far and are actual wheel travel. LOVE EM!

I recently got the new Boss/Toytec Aluma Series 2.0 coilovers (which are made by Elka too, and look almost identical to yours except they’re red) in my ‘97 4Runner and I love them! They are some of the best riding coilovers I’ve ever felt, and perform as well as other coilovers that cost twice as much. Fully rebuildable too! Congrats!

I had to give the drivers side collar just one crank around to level it with the passenger side. But the 3rd gen 4runner coils are only 550# coils so it wasn’t hard to do (and man do they ride perfectly soft!). With an ARB bumper and full skids, they gave me right about 2.5” with room to go higher if needed, and after settling (and taking it the the King of the Hammers) this past weekend.

Thanks! I agree, the 3rd gen 4Runner is one of the best vehicles Toyota ever made. I’ve owned this one for 20 years!

What sold you guys on Elka? Ive been looking at these for a while now. Ive been riding on Toytec Boss coilovers (glorified billies) for about a year and a half and they are already leaking pretty bad and not rebuildable as far as I know. could definitely use an upgrade sometime soon

    NICE!

I have the same Elka 2.0 and JBA setup on my 5th gen 4Runner. I went with the 650lb springs on my Elka's as I have no weight added to the front.

Haven't been off-road with them, but they are fantastic on road.

Custom tuned with the right springs instead of just out the box typical stuff people buy. Call Josh @ ishock and just talk to him. He's cool. That helped too

I see this is an old thread but I got a few questions, Do you still like these? after 3yrs? and how many miles you think you put on since you had these are they holding up good? have you had to rebuild them yet?
I just ordered these Yesterday from there official website the 2.5 IFP
