Just bought a 2002 Standard cab Tacoma 3RZ engine, 5 speed 4WD. New frame, springs, all bushings. New Cooper tires on 4Runner wheels and the old 15" wheels in the bed. New Radiator and front clip (dratted deer!) Pristine inside and out. No rust to be seen. Tonneau cover. 175K miles. $6300. Highway driver. still on original clutch and rear brakes. I am very pleased!!

Good deal, I've got the same truck. Hold onto that Tonneau, but pick up the slim Kobalt toolbox from Lowes ($150). Really helps with storage, which you'll soon realize can be an issue at times...

Check around for leaks anywhere first but then change out all your fluids: Oil, Front and Rear Diff, Transmission, and T-Case. I've had great luck with Red Line synthetics for the latter few but stick to a quality conventional in the engine.

Lastly grease the drive line, front and rear. Should be about 5 or 6 zerks in total.

    Enjoy the new truck.
