Definitely a favorite, and the best gen...

But, the automotive world cares not. Priced to keep. Damn, should have told my wife that. hahahaha

I like how the thread reads now since you deleted your posts. It makes it seem like I'm a crazy dude bumping a year old thread...

Very true... I have the exact truck. A limited.... but with 191k on it and cannot give it away... they have really depreciated in value in the last year or so. Kbb and nada don’t mean anything. There’s a real market value And these have started to plummet pretty bad. I can’t even get 6k out of my 04 limited.

I don't think you've looked at the market value that closely... with 100-150k miles, a 4x4 TRD goes for $13k+ in certain markets. Your truck should be worth closer to $10k if it's a 4x4.

Seriously. An '04 with 191k would probably fetch at least 7500 on ebay

As long as you don't have a rusted out frame...

Yes I have. Not where I am located. In SW PA it’s a Jeep world and these things just do not sell here. It is a 4x4

If it was mint with no rust at all it would fetch that here.

Frame was replaced in 2010. It’s a two owner truck. I bought it from my buddy who bought it new. I have every receipt for it from when it was new until now. Every thing that’s ever been done to it I have documentation.

    I miss my 09

BUT... In many cases the frame warranty will still be valid so just get a new one.

    Ask me how I know

Looks like you're near me. Word of advice if you're trying to sell: list it on as many places with national outreach as possible. I had a mint 2002 4runner with 100k miles that sold in less than 6 hours to a guy in Colorado last year. I just waited for the check to clear and he sent a truck to pick it up. I don't know why more people on the west coast don't look east for a truck. They're usually cheaper and shipping a vehicle really isn't all that much

@2002Tacoma4x4 , if the suckers balk at what you want for it (if still looking to sell) just need to tell them suckers that this is not the truck for you :hattip:

yesterday i open up the cavity as much possible then sprayed with the milky product Rust Converter from Eastwood inc, that will leave a phosphate black surface ready to eastwood internal rust inhibitor
