Hi everyone Im a noob from Indiana and cant wait to learn more about one of the best trucks ever made.I have owned my 06 SR5 4 banger 4x2 for about a month and a half now and I love it except for the wheels which I plan to change eventually.I am a first year apprentice as a heat and frost insulator for Local 18 out of Indianapolis IN (Union members stand up!). If anyone could link me to any info about good tire/wheel sizes for the 4x2 tacos I would appreciate it.I will never go offroading except for maybe the occasional open field but I would like a more aggressive tire mainly for looks. Can anyone recommend anything that doesnt require a lift? My budget is tight until I reach top pay in my trade:(.pics up soon.

Welcome to TW! Glad you found the info you need for tires! If you're not going to be taking it off road you really don't need the 4x4. I'm sure you'll enjoy your truck just as much as we do!

Thanks everyone.Ya I highly doubt I would ever go off road even if it was a 4x4.I really just wanted it because these last few Indiana winters have been especially brutal.

Welcome to TW!! U got me thinking are Tacoma's still union made? Lot's are made in Mexico, San Antonio. I think the NUMMI closed to many weed smokers.

the tacoma specifically is not union made. I am actually not one of those union guys who say"I only buy american blah blah blah".Thats just dumb since very few cars are made in america anymore but at least the tundra is.I however, did not have the money or the need for the big tundra although I think they are badass.Like I said I am a first year apprentice so I am no where near my top pay so money is tight right now.Once I sell my 97 Honda Prelude and its Rays G Games wheels I will be a lot better off.
