Well its about about a year of playing with my 1982 Toyota FJ60 but a buddy was selling his 2001 TRD Ext cab 4x4 and gave me a deal I couldn't pass up so I sold the FJ60 and picked this up. It has 240k miles and he has owned it since new. Ending up paying $2800 for it and it is in wonderful shape. Has been really cared for since new (minus all the dog hair that I need to get out). Only have this one picture but will try to post more once it stops snowing and raining here. Plans are to throw on a camper top, build bumpers, maybe some lights, a winch and lastly, going to add a small winch and build a game cleaning hoist that will store inside along the bed rails. I have already replaced both O2 sensors and done some inspection but will update as I get things done.

Heres my to do list for now

    Mechanical
    -Replace CV's
    -Replace Valve Cover Gaskets

    Random
    -Find a front skid plate
-Find a new spare tire and equipment to secure it again

    Exterior
-Replace 2 cracked light lenses up front
    -Build front and rear bumpers
    -find camper top

    Farewell to the FJ60

Damn that fj is beautiful. One day I want to find a classic Toyota... Either a cruiser or old pickup. Cruiser looks like fun for camping with the family

Dang for $2800! You should have kept both my friend, but nice Tacoma nonetheless.

Well I made a 3hr drive to pick up my new camper top. Ended up picking it up for $150. Is it awesome shape with good carpet inside, Yakima rack system, flip up windows on both sides (my favorite part) and locks and keys all working. I also put in a new radiator and hoses last week so things are looking up!
