New 2016 Today (maybe) and new TW member

I got word yesterday from the dealer that my 2016 may be coming in today.

I've had a Tacoma for the past few years, a 2012, but this one is 4x4 with a V6 (versus 4x2 with an I-4). Rather excited to finally get the truck that I really wanted.

With the new truck, comes a new login to TW — lots of great info and ideas floating through here. First up on my list:

• Tire chains
• Crossover toolbox
• Stocking said tool box with (at least) a 72-hour emergency kit, and my CERT deployment kit
• Weathertech floor mats.
• Building a shelf for the dog over the center console for the dog.

Beyond that, I have lots of ideas (thanks to these forums)... Maybe a ham radio in the center console, or interior LEDs, rock sliders, flashlight mount, or... — we'll see where time and money take me.

welcome! i have 2016 envy, just like the look and stance. gonna be awhile, my 15 has 8000. mi. sold my 02 with 200000.mi. good luck with the new truck.

Well... No word from them on Saturday. No word on Sunday. No word yet on Monday.

The original date was supposed to be the 21st. So hopefully that doesn't slip too far.
