I only started watching it when it was mentioned that DD should be able to develop some sort of system that still would retain cat converters and allow a user to then pass inspection while still working with the OVT TT kit. That really caught my attention.

For the longest time I was uninterested in other exhaust systems because I'm actually happy with the TRD exhaust. Once twin turbos were announced, i figured I'd just wait and watch while the turbo kit was finalized and then supporting mods were developed, and then go from there .

For me, the turbos are a ways in the future. So for now I’ll settle for the little victories like a real exhaust

You are most definitely Welcome! I’m excited to see this system go from the Development/Prototype (this thread) to really being something special on the main thread now!!! :)

You know that’s exactly how this process got started. I was extremely interested in the TRD Catback Exhaust System for my truck. However, I really loved the Dual TRD Catback Exhaust they make for the Tundra. I was very tempted to purchase the System from the Tundra and convert it to the Tacoma. I created an account on Tundras.com and decided to do my own research on the system. Then I ran into DirtyDeedsIndustries where I did even more research. One thing led to another and I reached out to Keith to see if he would be able to convert his replacement Dual TRD Exhaust System for the Tundra for the Tacoma. We got to talking more and more and now we are where we are. It’s been very exciting and I can’t be happier for DD and TW. I really think this system is going to be the only one like it and own the market for both Tundra’s and Tacoma’s. To know that this all started with not being afraid to ask a question even if you may think others think you are crazy for wanting that for your truck. Haha. I’ve learned so much from Keith and this process. Hope everyone else enjoys this system when it gets out on the market!!!

Well after running the Dump on my truck for a week now, I can definitely say it is louder. However, it is my favorite appearance on the truck. I love how it is hidden and tucked up higher. Looking forward to @dirtydeeds new works with the Y-Pipe and helmholtz resonator addition.

Any news on if the Dirty Deeds website will ever be completely redone? Lol it's annoying af to navigate right now.

And any news on if individual pieces of the exhaust will be available for purchase? Right now there's the one listing for the 3GT, and 3 of the 4 exhaust pieces are mandatory it says, so honestly I don't even know why it says that pricing starts at a bit over $500 when you have to ultimately spend about triple that, at least

The website automatically takes the lowest price that it can be and posts it up like that. We can’t change it.

For all of the parts to fit together you have to buy all of the parts. The stock mid pipes won’t bolt to our y pipe. The stock y pipe won’t bolt to our mid pipes.

But trust me. You want the whole system. Equal length mid pipes and y pipe makes a big difference in low end torque.

We also have ‘just a miffler’ for guys on a budget. That’s an easy one. It’s only $150 and you can take it down and have it welded in.

We also have a bolt on catback that replaces the miffler. It’s $595 aluminized and includes a helmholtz resonator.

Anybody interested in a group buy?

If we had 5 systems prepaid:

    Mid pipes
    Y pipe
    Catback

I could offer free shipping. Let’s run the group buy from now thru Valentine’s Day. Order online and post here that you ordered. When we have 5 orders before Valentine’s Day I’ll go thru the orders and refund shipping.
