Alright everyone...spoke with Keith after driving throughout the night to get back to Oregon for work early this morning. I’m dead tired right now and probably will be catching some shut eye early tonight as I haven’t slept in 40 hours. I’m a bit exhausted. I have a ton of pics of my current setup that Keith and I wanted to really test out on my trip back home to Oregon. We also took some videos clips when I picked up the truck. Keith has all of this and although he is sick right now, he is working on getting his website hooked up to getting ready to sell this system right away as well as continuing to use this with updates on the build process of this exhaust system and options. There will be so many options. He will also be giving his review and findings when he does make his post. I will tell you, you will not be disappointed. I absolutely love the protype currently on my truck! Let’s just say he has X Pipe, Y Pipe, Dual Exhaust, single Exhaust, no Exhaust (currently running ;)), etc etc. This is the only exhaust system I truly believe that will ever be out on the market where you will be able to customize it however you would like your system to be. You want it to exit out the side before rear axle, Done! You want a dump before or after the Rear anxle, Done! You want Dual Catback System or Single Exhaust System to replace OEM, Done! You want no exhaust and straight pipe, Done! No cats, Done! You get the idea. There is just so many frickn options that I truly feel Tacoma World just hit the jackpot with Dirty Deeds Industries and BAMufflers really taking this on and running with it! This is going to be HUGE!

Does the exhaust setup decrease clearance at all? I have been planning a reroute but it appears like this both gets rid of the low spot around the transfer case and keeps the exhaust line above the frame rails.

Everything is above the frame rails so don’t do the reroute because this will take care of it!!!

Yeah. He’s been under the weather for sure. He’s great about returning messages but lately he hasn’t been around his phone much. I believe he is starting to return messages and answer all of his customers emails, etc.

Something tells me you know how much some setups will cost or at least a ballpark. I'm betting this will not be price friendly otherwise that would be a major point here even if it's just a "developement" thread.

Yes I was thinking the same thing that this may be unaffordable for most. I do know there are also those who are independently wealthy too.

I remember their cat back exhausts were reasonable, not cheap, but reasonable. I imagine the cost of this will vary greatly on your end choices. Full piping without mufflers will probably be very affordable/cheap. This exhaust also includes the y-pipe that is typically purchased as a 2nd part. URDs spec U is 999.00, I'm guessing this will be around the same with mufflers. Just my $.02.

Keith is going over everything and will be trying to get the price down to what his customers will pay. With that said, this system is worth it! I do not know at this point in time how much any of it will cost. I would assume he will do something similar to what he does for the Tundras. I also think this would be a setup where you could purchase the first section at one point, the second section at another stage, and so on. I do not think it would be something you would HAVE to purchase all at once unless you so choose to do so.

This will be affordable. However, if you think the system will be like $400-$500, then I think that would be unreasonable for sure. With this exhaust system being custom built to each and everyone of our likings, it will most likely be in the range of $1,000-$3,000 I would assume. I believe he may also set a price for each section and have customers purchase the system like that. Therefore, each customer will be able to customize their own system. Again, I have no idea at this point how much this system will be other than I truly believe it will definitely be affordable.

Very smart and reasonable too  However, one stop shop with Dirty Deeds Industries. All you have to do is tell him what you want and he will make it for you. No need having to go to URD for their special Y Pipe or Spec U System to bolt on to your other system. It’s all here and at the tip of your fingers.

Well just an update. Checked in with Keith today on how he is feeling. He’s still under the weather so he plans to take it easy the rest of the week. Starting next week he plans to hit everything hard. Therefore, have a lookout next week for more pics, videos, and hopefully the system on his website ready to go into production! I can’t wait for our community to be able to benefit from all of Dirty Deeds Industries and BAMufflers hard work!
