I'm still questioning the affects of forward crash avoidance radar while wheeling.

Makes me like my current cheese grater a lot more. Then again, I never had any problems with it and actually like it. But this thing...no

So, this new safety sense P is supposed to be standard right? Because if all 2018's come with this grill, aftermarket vendors are going to love Toyota.

I don't love it. But I like it more than the chrome, plastic-looking grills I see on a lot of the 2016/2017s.

The grill from the 16-17 TRD models looks way better, this one looks like a cheap knock-off of the Lexus f-sport grills. I don't like the trickle down of styling from Lexus to Toyota models (Camry front end for example). They need to keep the two brands being very distinct from one another, it might help Toyota but I feel it could hurt Lexus.

A lot of hating going on in here...

... but i’d Rather an actual black plastic OEM TRD grill than a plasti-derped one

Sorta like it...not sure yet. I wouldn't spend money to buy one, but I don't dislike it either.

Time to part out your gen 3 boys. You can put that money toward a 2018 with that fresh and fancy grille. Nothing says "obsolete truck" like a '16 and 17' grille.

They went with my style. Black insert, chrome ring, chrome yota center thingy for contrast.

I was cool before it was cool to be cool. Lol.

This is how I feel it should have looked from the factory.

That looks good. I like that you spared the plasti-dip on the Toyota logo. That always looks silly to me.

It’s almost like Toyota realized they missed the mark with the cheese grater grill when they saw everyone spend $$$ on the pro grille. Then, they decided they couldn’t make the new grille too good looking. Why miss out on selling a $400 piece of plastic?

Might consider upgrading to this grill mainly because of the color, it is a much darker Blue-Gray and less shiny than the current braces look.
