    Hello Pro friends and enemies,

On August 18 I picked up a 2018 Pro MT, Super White from Karl Malone in Draper, Utah, and drove back to Albuquerque via Moab and Canyonlands. We drove the White Rim Trail (mostly easy) in Canyonlands box stock (adding RCI sliders, BFG KO2s 265/75/16, BAK Industries tonneau soon) along the trail to "break it in". I've owned 6 Toyota pick-ups in the last 35 years, and this is the best as stock. I got an average of 20.7 mpg, best 21.76 mpg, including highway and 50 miles off-road. I'll probably lose a little mpg when I intall the BFGs. Below are some picks, and in September when I finish the mods, I'll re-post. This is my retirement rig.

Congrats on your retirement and new rig.
I’d say have fun with it but clearly you did that on the ride home.

And then there is Moab Brewery and Distillery - great beer and great food. Nice to end a day of wheeling in a place like that. They also make their own gelato that is damn good.

I used to live in El Cerrito and rode my bike up the Clayton side of Mt. Diablo in another life.

"include, but are not limited to mpg loss, wind noise, desire to lift things, reduced savings account, possible loss of significant others, taco jealousy, overuse of instagram hashtags, tacos on tuesdays, mall crawling (especially on #flexfriday) , violent thoughts about Ridgelines, use of the words expo and or overland excessively, excessive drooling, phone data plan overusage, and scarred knuckles."

Geez, you're right. At least the Pro has a lot of the mods stock that I often add.
