You need to write to Toyota North America about your issues. Obviously these guys are giving you the run around. Any pictures, date it and what has been happening since you brought it in.
Document everything from day one to today.
I went through simiar hassle with a local dealer feeding me bullshit. Since I wasn't getting anywhere with the dealership , I wrote to the North American corporate office. Long story short, I was instructed to the dealer with letter to repair under warranty .

Reading this thread makes me want to buy six packs for the service advisor and tech I have worked with at my dealership.

No. Maybe from your dealer but not Toyotas. I have a great dealer. Sorry about your problems though.

If the carpet and the jute behind it got soaked, then make them replace it. My 2016 TRD OR that got less than an inch of clean water inside the cab on the carpet, due to Hurricane Harvey, they totaled it just because of that. They said the carpet jute once soaked will get mold in it.

Agreed. My dealer is a one and a half hour drive for me. The good service and the way I am treated makes the drive worth it for me. Taking my truck in for warranty work on Monday. They are replacing my front body mount. No cost to me, no fight to get it done. @Utfan1 sorry you have to endure this BS, but it's not the norm for Toyota, @ least in my experience....

It’s the foam like material that is the ‘cushion’ under the carpet.
Raise total hell about them replacing both carpet and padding!!

Check to be sure leak is fixed and there are no rattles or any problems from repair.
I think you got shafted big time. Your dealer is garbage and Toyota has totally dropped the ball. It definitely puts a bad taste in my mouth for the people you dealt with.
I'll help keep this thread bumped to the top so people see it and know what you went through. This thread won't be good publicity for the dealer or Toyota Co.

They did finally agree to replace carpet and the jute but did not replace the gray insulation in the passenger front floor board that runs up firewall. Exactly where the leak was/is at

Should it? I don't see where one person's bad experience should stop anyone from trying something. That's almost like asking someone to not eating at Red Lobster because you've had a bad meal... not saying that Red Lobsters that great just an example. One of the reasons that I like Toyota is that the service departments have always went way beyond that of the Fords and Chevys I've owned.
