So today I finally pulled the trigger on a new TRD Pro. My 2013 hit the 5year mark and has taken a beating While she was still worth decent money decided to make a move. Really wanted a Raptor but just couldn’t justify it.

Now what mods do I do? My 13 has supercharger but not an option any more. Would like a bit more lift and thinking Icon package along with new tires might make her stand out from the crowd. I’m looking for input.

I understand 265/75/16 is largest tire I can go stock or up to 3 inch lift is that correct?0A2F336E-6043-4858-8C81-3142F26592D0.jpg E4E9488F-A812-4835-8C95-6FE76CFB15F0.jpg 4A15FA49-BBC5-4627-8E3C-A3078C9F27EA.jpg

Wait... why'd you get a Pro if you're going to change out the suspension?

You can actually run a 255/85/16 on stock 3rd gen suspension without any rubbing issues!

A lot of people on here get feisty about changing the suspension out on the Pro as it is the most expensive part of the package compared to a TRD OR. I have a Pro, changed my suspension and am very happy about it.

Wanted to stick with Fox to keep it somewhat original. Went with Fox 2.5s w/ Res and Total Chaos UCAs. Love it.

I dunno. The major difference of the Pro is the Fox suspension.

Dibs on the take offs? LOL!

You can fit 285/75/16's if you're not opposed to doing some massaging of the plastic inner fenderwell liners.

And why did you get a 2018 if you had a supercharger?

WoW!! That’s a beautiful truck op, congrats!!

But now its the time when you start reading all the posts with issues and all the million reasons why its a bad truck to have, a BIG mistake and you don’t want to take a big loss so you sell it to me for a more reasonable used fee. :D

However, if you change your mind after all that reading and decide to take a BIG risk and keep it, to that I say “go big or go home”.
And by BIG I mean be the first to drop a 5.7L V-8 Tundra in that bad boy and show the RAPTOR you moon side with all the money you saved hehe!!

And should you decide to keep it, enjoy your truck
    Cheers!
