I just installed a Sienna HU with NAV and AHH harness/usb adapter in my 19 OR. Entume 2.0 to 3.0. The weather just keeps downloading… I got HD radio and NAV. image.jpg I guess it has to do with my Entune account? Thx.

Not sure what would cause that but I dont have an entune account and my weather works. Gets the info via HD radio (FM signal) so shouldn't need anything special.

Thanks! It was my fault. I now have the weather and GPS auto adjust clock. I didn't plug in the GPS harness.

It was all the way in the back. lol
Now, my last issue is the Head Unit "trip info". It's in km/h ...The cluster display settings are in US/mph. Is this mean I have a Canadian (86140-08190) version? The seller was indicating that it's a wiring problem.

Can someone verify if 86140-08190 Is not Canadian specs? I’m still digging around about my NAV box 86840-0R010. Could this be a Canadian NAV specs controller?

I tried the CPLAY2Air device and it works okay. There’s a bit of lag (maybe a 1/10th of a second or so) that bothers me, and the USB dongle is in an obnoxious place. May as well just plug it in at that point.

Every once is a while it glitches out at startup and I have to plug/unplug it, so I can’t tuck it away either. I’ve been thinking about rerouting the USB to inside the center console, I think I’d use it more often.

Thanks! That’s what I’ve read about it. Unreliable connection. That’s what I did. I plugged in my lightning cable to The USB harness by AHH and routed with the power cable (I’ll get a black one soon) of my wireless phone holder charger which is plugged into one of USB outlet inside the mid console. 17D9E8EF-B560-47C3-96A7-812BA282632F.jpg

@IcemanPNW or @TRDCal or anyone else has done a successful swap from Entune 2.0 non JBL to Sienna non JBL HU w/NAV.

My screen units are in km/h. Is this mean I have a CAN HU?
    Thx!

Have a look at post #381 in this thread. I quoted a message that has all the different part numbers of the various Canadian and US spec headunits, those are Tacoma part numbers but may help. Otherwise, get the part number off of your headunit and google it to see if it comes up on a Toyota parts website as Canada or US spec.

As for mine, I'm in Canada and my unit is from a wrecked Canadian Tacoma so mine displays is in metric units as expected.

Thanks! Is there data on “Avg speed after start” or “elapsed time after start” or “Range”? Or this is just blank. Only graphs are on the display. I am also researching my HU part number is 86140-08190. Maybe, anyone can have a better luck finding out if this is a CAN built.

I looked up your PN, didn't find anything conclusive. There were some PNs that specified USA spec or CAN spec but your PN seemed more generic so maybe it's used in both markets?

My guess would be a wiring issue. Talk to autoharness house. I had to connect a vehicle speed wire plus a power and ground to get the navigation working properly. Maybe you need that vehicle speed wire to get avg speed etc working, I have no idea but I would definitely talk to Brian.

To answer your question, here's what mine looks like even without the truck running:

I been talking to my HU vendor and he's indicating that it's a wiring issue. I really think it's a Canadian built HU because of km/h and km/L.
I just emailed Brian @AHH about this. Hoping he can shed some light. If not, I might ask the seller to exchange for another HU. One more question, what does this your screen look like when the vehicle is in motion? Does it show how many km/h or km/L? Or just "zeroes" ? Thanks again.

I get current trip information, but history does not load for me. This seems to affect most (maybe all?) of the Entune 3.0 swaps… I don’t think it has anything to do with the Sienna HU specifically, since I later swapped a 2020 Tacoma HU into my truck and it behaves exactly the same.

Not sure on the part number, but a shot in the dark, there is a setting to change the units under general settings. On my Tacoma 2020 HU this seems to be locked to miles/gallons, maybe if you have a generic part you can change it? Maybe also try changing the units from the multi-information-display in the dash.

Thanks for chiming in. I’ve checked the dash display settings and it’s in MPH and fully functional. The seller is indicating a wire harness issue. He might send me another HU. I just wish the trip info was still functional.

Update, mine doesn't work either. I tried it on the way to work this morning and it shows nothing. When I shut the truck off it shows zeros like the previous picture.
