    This and that...
I tinted my front windows and sold the tires it came with for something better. Then came Softopper, puddle lights, anytime rear camera, anytime fogs, etc... Lift came after a year.

edit: Oh yeah the bed mat too. Gotta have it.

    None... yet.
Yeah, I'll echo what a few others have said: the bed mat is a must-have. So are the all-weather floor mats, though it sounds like you already have that taken care of... I have the OEM all-weathers too, and I love them, right now in the middle of winter I take them out and hose off the salt and dirt once a month or so, and gaze down at my still-pristine carpet. Makes me happy. I'm also in the process of replacing the head unit: I didn't hate Entune nearly as much as I thought I would, but six months in and I'm ready for CarPlay. And a $10 tray for the center console, so I don't have to dig through the whole pit to find gum or sunglasses.

But yeah, as others have said, read the manual. There is some really helpful information in there. And as big as it is, it doesn't take that long. Find an hour or two, put a pot of coffee on or crack a beer or two, and kick back. Also, this post is a liiiittle bit dated and some of it applies to like '16s and '17s more than '19s and '20s, but I found it really useful when I first bought my truck nevertheless. It's just a collection of tips and tricks and things to be aware of on the third gens: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tips-and-tricks-on-the-3rd-gen-tacoma.411911/

Also if you regularly take your truck through muck or water that'll be deep enough to swamp your axles, look into the diff breather mod, that's easy enough to find info on here.

Beyond that, man... my advice is hold off on any other mod, unless there's something you absolutely know you need or want or you've had your eye on. It's really easy to spend a few hours flipping through this site and find five figures worth of shit that would be really cool to have. I've limited myself to about a grand's worth of stuff up front (all the stuff I mentioned above plus a tonneau). I kinda look at it like tasting your food before I load it with salt and hot sauce :) I'm gonna drive it for a year or so, see how it is in all four seasons, then see what I want to do with it. But to each his own, and regardless: enjoy the truck!

I'm pretty much a stock truck guy...but here is a list of items that serve me well on a daily basis:
    - JDMCAR Glove Box Insert
    - JDMCAR Center Console Organizer Insert
    - JDMCAR Dividers for Center Console
**these 3 things (aside from the seat covers) are the most useful items I've purchased (off Amazon for around 40 bucks for all 3).
    - 4X6 (stretches to 8X12) Super Duty Truck Cargo Net with clips (by Grit Performance off Amazon) - I keep this stored in it's bag under the back seat) - great for hauling empty boxes, etc - that might fly around , to the dump - around $30
    - Zento 3 Pocket Mesh Organizer from Amazon around $15...(I use this on the side of my bed for items from the grocery store, etc)
    - Tacoma Bed Mat (got it for around $75 at my dealer - showed a deal from another dealer and they matched it)
    - Carhartt Seat Covers for front and back (around 500 before tax - I think Real truck.com)...We own a horse farm on a river - so these were the best choice for me as I needed utility.

Good luck , enjoy and safe travels!

I've only had my 2020 Tacoma for a few days, but definitely agree with the comment above to get the center console and glove box organizers. Both seem like wasted space until you get some kind of organizer to make it a bit more useful. I got mine off Amazon for around $10-15 each and it was a perfect fit.

I plan on getting the Toyota bed mat next. If you search the forums you'll find a link to a dealer with promo code so you can get it for less than $100 shipped.

Since you're a fisherman. Get a rod holder. Not talking about a passenger :ohsnap: but an exterior setup.

From those pictures, looks like your new ride might need the morning after pill.
Is that a little red bump on her lip already?

Spend another $10k on lifts, covers, tires, wheels. Buy a bunch of plastic stuff to pretty up the inside.

Then you can come back here and ask why something stopped working, what is that noise, I feel a vibration, anyone else have that happen, and how do I fix this?

    I picked up a 2020 SR5 in January!

    Mods:
Ceramic Window Tint; I think 30% on the front windows and 70% on the rear privacy glass
    OEM Bed Mat
    OEM Door Sill Protectors
MESO Customs "Gasshole" Gas Cap Holder
MESO Bucket with OG TRD Logo
Console Organizer, I went with 1 single tray
    Glove Box Organizer

The toughest decision I've made is to force myself to use stock wheels and tires until I need new tires naturally. Very very difficult. Extreme willpower.

I’ve had my Tacoma for 5 days now. Here is the damage I have done so far:
    • Console tray organizer & dividers (Amazon)
    • Glove box organizer (Amazon)
    • Square container to go in the space in front on the cup holder (Runnin 4 Tacos)
    • Toyota bed mat
    • Toyota plug in play LED bed light kit - installed yesterday
    • Toyota auto lock kit - will install this weekend
    • Diamondback SE cover (ordered)

Unpopular opinion but don’t dig into anything still under warranty. Might as well use the warranty you paid big bucks for with Toyota backing it.
