I just traded my BMW 440 which is a German Supra (or vise versa) and it had wireless. I think the Supra is the only Toyota though...

I find using a lightening cable gives better sound quality anyways - so I always do it. Bluetooth doens't seem to have the BW/t-put for audio to transfer ultrahigh bit sampling rates. Our 2018 Audi Q7 is also needs a cable and cost more than 50% more than my loaded taco if it makes you feel any better.

All of my 4 Bluetooth vehicles I had, sounded is much fuller when connected. My commute is somewhere around 15 minutes, so I don’t usually bother. It used to be 40+. Each generation of Bluetooth got progressively better. Sometimes I would have to shut down everything and restart, car included, to get it to work. I would have to say I’m impressed how quickly the Tacoma picks up where I left off. Is it really Toyota being lazy o r the thought that may have committed to contracts and quantities of certain units?

That and I think they're always assuring QDR so not rushing to put the newest new in their platforms until they know its reliable, usually Lexus first and drips down into Toyota products.

As if it you would buy something and not think the next generation would have improved technology.

I think it might be better to think about how messed up it is to not get the auto lock tailgate. Or passenger power seats. Heated seats in all the trd. Maybe even push to start in the manuals.

Then again “built not bought”. I mean if it came from the dealer exactly how all the tw members wanted then this forum would be mostly useless. And we would be bored.

Very true and most full size guys just lift and wheels/tires, Tacoma people are a lot like Jeep people when it comes to all the different mods.

A $3 usb cable is the cheapest mod out there. Any color, length etc. I use a 3” one normally. And then on longer trips my kids change their selections with a 10’ cord.

    what about a 991.2 GT3? LOL...there's 4 or 5 tacoma's in there depending on spec... same problem.

:amen:yeah - that I had pull a few panels out and run a loom from the truck front to back is frustrating, especially for any vehicle using keyless entry/ignition. but its also endearing in a way....lol

Is there a thread related to Sirius? How many people have that and don’t use it?

Have it on 2 vehicles and never used it even during the free trial. Podcasts and Amazon Music make it unneeded for me

I’ve had it for 4 vehicles, never used it. Never set up the free trial. I use Spotify or pandora and it’s just fine. I guess there might be someplace remote that Sirius would make sense but the channels are confusing and something I don’t want to learn. However when I’m out someplace without cell service then I’m not trying to listen to music and podcasts.

Even that $43K here you get them off the lot at $35-$36K loaded there is no way in hell I would pay that for a Sport. I got my 19 T4R TRDOR Premium fully loaded w/KDSS tech package sunroof etc: off the lot for $38,131 MSRP was $46,917....

I don't have all that radar safety, cross traffic or lane change BS but that's why I bought the 19 instead of the 20
