New 2021 Tacoma SR5 needs better speakers

    Hi everyone. I just got my first new vehicle, 2021 Tacoma SR5. I love the truck! It’s got the stock sound system and it pretty quiet and not much bass. I pretty much have to keep it at max volume level. Seeing if anyone has upgraded there sound system and if anyone had advice

    Welcome to TW…The stock speakers in Tacoma’s are junk. I replaced mine with Kicker speakers and a Kicker 300 watt amp, that alone made a huge difference, then I switched out the head unit and it sounds even better yet.

    Make sure to put sound deadening to optimize even stock speakers….
