Hi my name is Mike. Recently purchased a new 2023 Tacoma. Not really pleased with the way the stock transmission operates, constantly shifting. Does anyone have recommendations or info on tunes to calm it down a bit, or shift like it should.

    Thanks

Welcome to TacomaWorld! And congrats on your 2023!

Just wanna say good luck with your search! I don't have any trans tuning recommendations...I have a 6MT so I shift when I want. :D But I know there's a lot of tuning info out there. Some people may get upset you didn't "do your due diligence" using the search option but the info can be overwhelming.

In the Interim I find driving with ECT on and the transmission in S-4 helps, especially grinding city driving.
