No money, all went to truck...
OP we here in the forum are tired of people complaining about the smallest issue and then saying "truck totally sucks and I totally regret my purchase."

That's all. It's a small issue, it's covered under warranty. Toyota will take care of it. No need to catastrophize the situation.

Not my intention to catastrophiz. However when people pay as much as they do now for a pickup, expectations should be high.

I traded my 2010 in as well for a ‘23 OR. I have back issues and the seat position was rough in my second gen as well. Some seat lifters ended up solving my issue and love it now. The dealer should be able to rotate and force balance if that doesn’t resolve it for you.

A lot of things can cause a drift from the crown of the road (however slight) to high winds which are common this time of year. It doesn't hurt to get the alignment double checked though.

The seating position is basically the same from the 2nd gen to the 3rd gen since they're largely the same truck. Seat jackers can help, I've heard. I don't have any issues with my seating position, but everyone's body is different. I'm 5'9" and I've heard people shorter complain while taller people were fine with it. No real rhyme or reason apart from personal preferences.

As for your remarks about high expectations: I do agree to a degree. But "how much we pay" is often a catch-all phrase people use to justify expecting everything to be perfect and exactly how they wanted it when reality doesn't always support that notion for various reasons. It's like talking about Toyota reliability and being surprised when Toyotas have common problems of their own. While these prices are a lot, they're actually toward the lower end of the spectrum in current truck pricing across the board. Some of that will change with the 4th gen, but still. Reality is that nothing is infallible and not everything will work out exactly how everyone is expecting or (what I find to be more accurate the longer I'm on here) what they're used to.

Sorry for the rant. I'm not dismissing your pulling to the right issue. It's still under warranty and within the break in period. Maybe see if they're willing to check the alignment for free.

I assume you’ve checked tire pressure? Didn’t see that mentioned.

If you can post alignment numbers , I’m sure knowledgeable members can chime in

My 2023 TRD Sport developed a slight drift to the right after having different rims swapped out on the stock tires. Nothing major but definitely noticeable at highway speeds. Less than 600 miles on it.

My only other gripe is having to slide into the truck with my leg out due to the limited tilt of the steering wheel.

An alignment issue can be caused by the owner and not a manufacturing issue. Alignment can be thrown out by driving over a pot hole, rough roads, hitting a curb head on, rubbing against a curb, speed bumps and so much more. But really ? What a lot of whining.

I can tell you with 100% certainty that I did none of the extremely obvious owner things you mentioned.

It’s more likely the suspension components wearing in and will probably not be the last time I’ll go it realigned.
