Hell I think the LT 255/80/17s on my truck ride pretty damn good. Pretty dang durable too, had a screw lodged in it and didn’t even puncture…

I'm really looking for a C rated or SL in a 275. My neighbor has 275 in bfgs and they are C rated but I cannot find them now.

Little update (OP here)… After about 2 weeks with the new 255/75R17 Duratracs and the SEMA wheels, I am getting just the slightest bit of rubbing on my driver side from mud flap. Passenger side doesn’t rub at all. It’s so minor, I’m not going to do anything about it. I want to keep my mud flaps on, so short of removing them, I don’t think there’s really much I could do anyway. I have to have my window down and be listening for it to even notice it, and the mark on the mudflap where the tire makes contact is so light, the tire is just brushing it. I can repeat it every time pulling into one particular parking lot if I hit it kinda fast, but I couldn’t even get it to rub at all when I was trying to on a trail near my house with lots of ruts.

On my last alignment printout, I noticed the caster on the D/S is at 2.0 and the P/S is at 2.2. I think that .2 makes the difference on my truck as to why it doesn’t rub on the P/S. So maybe at my next alignment, I’ll ask if they can push the D/S a bit farther. I’m fine with the way it is now though. Just wanted to let anyone know if they want to run these Duratracs in 255/75R17 on SEMA 4runner wheels, they might get a little rubbing on their mud flaps (I have a 1” lift BTW too). I am very happy with everything tho, and I’m glad I chose this size and tire model.

Have the exact same tires but on FJ Cruiser steel wheels PN#4261135330 (17x7.5) and have zero rubbing on a 2022 Trail which has the factory lift of 1.1". Also have the OEM flaps.
