Spaces too big while still less air flow than it could have. Bugs and rocks in radiator. Grill is for protection and airflow. Make it purty after those two are satisfied.

This was my thought. It will be hard to color match the outside trim of the grill because of the way the center bar molds into the sides.

That’s exactly how I plan to color match mine. Hopefully it looks good with the center color matched.

@ALI3N_123 that's for sure. Still making new grilles for a truck that was made at least 7 years ago.

I don't think it plays nearly as much affect that your making it out to be. I just did a 12 hour roundtrip with a cooler rack and never once had temp problems. You can see the cooler blocks the entire grille.

Looks like cheap Chinese junk. I wouldn't put it on my truck.

Granted I'm an old fashioned fart that believes form follows function and have seen too many bent radiator fins. Unless the cooler is actually touching the grill then it probably affects airflow on the highway more so than at low speed where the fan dominates airflow. Also Looks to me like the space above and to the sides of the cooler is still greater than the size of the grill. Each to his own though, that grill and most other modern styles just don't appeal to me for the reasons I've stated.

It was something that did cross my mind when I had my rack re-welded to sit level out of the Mobtown recovery bar. Thats a Yeti 65, I've had the 125 in another rack on the front for about an 8hour round trip. I also have some space between the rack and grille.
