    I mean… it’s a Ford, you don’t care
Rain, and it helps air flow. Basically if there’s a gap, the air will suck in to it, and sand and other debris can as well. Can cause paint damage to the edge of the hood. Happened with an old grille I had, I had to do touch up paint monthly

You would just have to bore out the holes where it mounts to the rad support a bit, easy breasy.

Got mine installed today, one of the mounts was broken...bummer. But i hot glued it and the weatherstripping. Doubt it will last, but the weatherstripping is far too thick and gets smooshed by the hood. Had to push it in like an old butthole so it would look decent. How’s that for a mental image?

Not extremely pleased with my experience, but the seller refunded me 30% since it was broken on arrival, so what the hell. I had to remove a bottom clip so it would sit down flush as it was made about half a centimeter too wide...might color match later when it’s not monsooning in Bama.C9C77389-F7D2-4A2D-A70E-421D753B74C9.jpg62FA5B56-CBF0-4F71-931F-512BB37B8DB2.jpg

Anyone find anything to get the weather stripping to stay? Bought some loctight, I am going to try that today. Will update if this works.

For people asking about the gasket this is what I plan to do whenever I get around to installing mine. If anyone else does this please post updates so maybe we can all find out if it's the best way.

These grills are great. I ordered one and installed it pretty quick. Would love ideas on attaching the rubber strip!

I bought one and the weather stripping and difficulty engaging the lower tabs were deal breakers. I spent a little (well, a lot) more and got this.CB444ADE-257C-46F2-B935-F32892C14A99.jpg
To the sellers credit I did get a no hassle return and quick refund.

Where did you find this grille? When I was looking, I couldn't find anything for a speedway blue other than new from the dealer.

Well, I did get new from a dealer, Royal South Toyota, an EBay seller.

I ordered one of those from royal south but ended up getting this one instead. They gave me $50 back to have center bar painted. I Painted the toyota emblem and called it a day.
