You might want to stay in the 265 range. I suspect the suspension is sagging a little and you might have some clearance issues. Some depends on the actual tire you decide to run. Some are a little larger than others and the more aggressive tires can have larger sidewall lugs and whatnot. Lots of people run 275's without a lift but some do rub here and there. You will probably be okay with a 275 but I can't guarantee you will not have to trim a few places.

I would stay away from the Notto's. Some people love them but all I have seen wear extremely fast. I have nothing against the BFG KO2. Depending on how aggressive you are looking for you can't go wrong with the Michelin defender ltx m/s. I have those on my wife's car and they are amazing. Now having said all that I have DuraTracs on my truck because I like to look cool. Keep that in mind when taking my advise.

Before you go with this I would look at some aftermarket options at Discount tire or something. This would be a lot to pay for what accounts for stock Sport wheels. Ones that are known to have issues with the finish flaking off and in my opinion are my least favorite Toyota wheel ever.

Cut about two inches off the bottom of the front mud flaps also. It will look much nicer.

I favor the BFG KO2's just concerned about how long they last on the highway. My intention is to run with 17 x 7.5 rims, so would this be good:

LOL, don't worry about it man. Its your truck. If you like them that is all that matters. I am sure they will be fine.

That should be fine but get them at Discount tire. I am sure they will be cheaper plus they have good customer service. And they price match. Be sure you have them swap the TMPS sensor out of your old wheels or you will have a light all the time. From what I know they wear well. I had a set back in the late 90's on my 97 Tacoma and they lasted 80k.

That was a problem on many of these but this wheel is probably mounted on more Toyota's than any other. And the ones that had problems were mostly due to people in high salt areas not keeping them clean after driving on heavily salted winter roads.

I assume you are saying those tires are good to go on 17 x 7.5 rims? Thanks for the heads up on the TMPS- hadn't thought about that.

It's a "dead pedal". On sports cars it allows the driver to use their left foot to brace themselves in the seat during hard cornering/etc--they became popular on many manual transmission cars, even those in which the driver had to worry about being tossed about while maneuvering...
