Hi guys, great forum, new 2nd Gen owner (2008 Double Cab TRD Sport Prerunner Sr5 2wd). Was wondering if there's anything I need to look out for, things to address, etc? I just rolled over to 49k. The maintence schedule is pretty basic from toyota. My buddy has a 1st gen (2000) with 213k and only basic maintence required, hoping this one will do the same. Thanks in advance! Zach

If you are following the maintenance schedule, you're doing everything right. No real issues I see until approximately 100k when you gotta look into replacing some fairly major components...

And my previous statement is misleading... Not really major components. When I said "major", I meant that as in things that many people can't/ don't want to do out in their driveway. The one that popped into my head was the water pump. The maintenance guide can be found Here and if followed correctly, should provide you with a good running truck for years to come.
