    Local Only. REALLY

    $225

I just bought this like a month ago. It’s brand new. Never been on the truck.

I’m switching to Pros, so here it is for sale.

I actually have three 315/75/16 Cooper Maxxs I would sell. (You can see the other two on the trailer)

I have the new one that was my spare, and the two on my trailer that have a lot of tread left.

If someone wants to do 35s on the cheap, they only need to buy one more new one to go on the same axle as the other new one.

I’d love to sell all three and put Pros in the trailer to match the truck.

    $450 would buy them all.

Hey man, :threadjacked: but you seem to be deep in the tire game so I figured I'd ask your input. I just bought a set of SCS Ray 10 and need some 17" tires now. I have a set of 265/75/16 KO2s on my original stock SR5 rims and I have a set of five 255/85/16 KM2s on the black steelie spare rims that come on our trucks. I was thinking I may just run the Ray 10s as my street set and keep running my 255/85/16 KM2s when I offroad. I will probably just sell my stock rims and 265 KO2s since I don't see myself using them now that I've had the KM2s on there a while and am not bothered by any road noise.

Basically my question is if I want to go 35s eventually (already have the CMC plates ready to go) should I just sack up and get them now for the SCS Ray 10s or should I put something on those just for the street and go 35" on my 16" steelies? I was thinking it would be nice to keep the weight down with alloy rims and 35s instead of steelies and 35s and also I won't care if I ding/scratch the steelies. Other option is just to get 255/80/17 KM2s or STT Pro and then I can still use my existing KM2s as spares since they'd be the same size. I don't want to feel like I have to re-gear even though I plan to eventually since I don't currently have enough room in my budget for the regear and lockers and OBA at the moment.

If you put 315s on stock Steelies, you’re going to have to run a big spacer.

Personally, I like as much rubber between the rocks and the wheels as possible. If I could run 15s I would.

I don’t care about scratching my wheels. It’s a trail rig.

You’re not going to want to run 35s on stock gears. At least I wouldn’t.

My Wife runs KM2s on her XJ, and I ran them on my truck for a while. They do well. I haven’t wheeled the Pros yet. We’re going to Rausch Creek this weekend and will see how they do.

With that said, you’re the only one who can really answer your question.

@HolyHandGrenade makes sense. They don't offer the Ray 10 in Brushed Copper in a 16" or I would have bought that size. Sounds like I should just run some street tires on my Rays and keep my steelies and 255/85/16 KM2 for wheeling. They've been good to me so far so might as well at least run em till they're done. Thanks for the feedback.

I'd love to check out Rausch sometime soon. Maybe at the end of June on my way back or on my way to the Red River Gorge meet. I tried to go last year on my way back from RRG but I didn't know they were only open on the weekends unless you schedule something with them. Also need someone to go with me :boink:

You should check out the Toyota Takeover in July.

There is usually a nice turnout and groups for all skill (and build) levels.

    Rausch is pretty awesome.
