love the 18" wheel look, IMO smaller wheels show have too much sidewall in 32 or 33 inch tires.

Have you checked out the Kook Mt? The trouble is they run 300$ a tire... Oh and I forgot to say that my wheels will be Method Standard 18"

nice wheels. I'm finding it hard to justify spending 250 per tire let alone 300...lol. I want to spend 200-225 per, but that seems impossible as I think BFG and other companies obviously know what's popular, so they jack up the price of that tire size. For instance BFG KO 265/65r18 - price ranges from 250-275. what a rip off... especially when you can get bigger tires for $50 less per tire.

I just used a regular ole box cutter. Sliced through the plastic like butter. The dremel will just melt it.

Cooper Discover AT3 white outlined letters 265/65/18 744 to my door with hazard coverage and rebates. Good looking tire with moderately aggressive tread pattern. Will have pics in about a week :)

    Just for point of reference.......

This was my old 05 with 2.5 lift up front, 18x9s (probably 4.5 BS & -12 offset but not sure - they came on the truck when I got them) 275/65/18 Duratracs 32x10.5x18. Had no cab mount rubbing but did have to trim the hangy box thing up front. I did a tuck thing vs. chop. Took a box cutter and cut all 4 sides vertically then cut the bottom square off. Then fold each side up against itself forming a flat bottom instead of just chopping and leaving a hole. Then ran a pointed screw thru it and used one of those flat trim clips on the inside where screw wouldn't back out. It left the integrity of the fender liner nice and sturdy and closed off that area. Just an idea for ya.

Hmm interesting. Hope 31.5" tires will eliminate the need for most of that trimming and I'd love to keep the mud flaps to avoid scratching my truck all to hell and back.

The Nitto Terra Grappler 285/60/18s that came on the 05 with those wheels were 31.5x11x18. They were just a tad fatter and lower profile than the Duratracs. This is how they looked with same lift............

Profile of the tire is the same, theyre still 31.5" tires on 18" wheels. Width is definitely noticable though. I like the stance
