awesome man, thanks for following up! How do they ride? Stiff? What psi are you running? I really have my eyes on these tires and most likely are going to purchase soon, also who did you buy from? Also do you know if these will fit on an 8.5 inch wide rim?

Purchased them from BB Wheels. They had the best deal at around $158 each. I believe they are rated for rims from 7-9 inches so should fit your rims fine. I was running E rated KO2’s previously and Duratracs C tires on our other Taco. I would say they ride a little softer than the E KO2’s and similar to the Duratracs. Don’t really stick to a regular PSI as I’m always changing it depending on what we’re carrying and where we’re headed.

Overall the best tire I’ve used for any of our 4x4’s we’ve owned. I’m sure you will be happy with them. Post some pics if you get them!

Ordered up a set of these 33x10.5R17's and received them today. Tire weight is actually closer to 60lbs despite reported claims from Kenda at 47lbs. Fed ex label said a generic 57.4 for each. My bathroom scale reports 58-59lbs each. Definitely a beefy tire with tread consisting of 7 plys (3 poly, 2 steel, 2 nylon) and sidewall of 3 plys (all poly). Sipes are full depth and the sidewall tread is legit, not just for appearance. Unmounted tread width is ~8.5" and unmounted diameter ~32". I can believe this is a great off-road tire, unfortunately, I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it d/t how heavy they are given this is my DD.

I was looking at the kendas today at a local shop and went with the wildpeaks. The kendas don’t have a mileage warranty which made me nervous. Went with 285/70/17 wild peaks instead.

they look pretty good in person. Just did not want to be a beta tester! Reviews I read are they are good initially then age pretty quickly.

dam, disappointing to hear they are that heavy. Now I have no clue which tire to get. Trying to keep the weight of tire as low as possible. Don’t want to run a 285 and all the 255 are heavy too

Wow, you're rig is going to be :101010:.
The weight of the Kenda is a bummer for sure. I'm going to go with the 255/80 open country at3. 51.5lbs and measure a full 33" unmounted. Side track on this thread, but what color Ray's did you get?

    Thanks :)

I totally forgot about the toyo at3, thanks for the info.

the rays are bronze. Havent mounted them yet, still on the hunt for a decent tire. I wanted a set of scs gold ray 10 but I emailed them 3 times and they replied with a lecture about not needing to email more then once. Shitty customer service considering I purchased a set of stealth 6’s for my Tacoma when scs first started out and the customer service then was better then it is now. I’ll never purchase scs again after that reply and will only be purchasing future wheels from showstoppers because their customer service is above and beyond. I also got a good deal on everything I purchased Through them, rays, kings and Baja designs. Best price I found anywhere was from showstoppers.

I agree, but listed weight is 53, so close enough for me. Only other 255/80 in the low 50's is the wildpeak.

Here is the same scale used to weigh the tires with a 12 lb kettle bell on it. I wasn't expecting it to be that close lol

Any updates on these tires so far. Liking the 33's with no CMC. Wondering how well they will work with a 0 to -6 offset
