really surprised with the price of the whole skid package.
Would've expected it to be like $1200 with ARB lol

I like how they put venting holes in them to help dissipate heat from the exhaust etc.

Easy to be cheaper than the other guys when you use steel that is less than 1/8in.

    0.118..... That's 0.007" smaller than 1/8" steel.

1/8 is 0.125..... You buy sheets of it. Heck it's not uncommon to get .005" sheets.... We have some we cut for shim material

I was doing math in my "head" again.... 3mm x 10 3cm - 3cm a little bigger than an inch... 1/10 of an inch..... meh.... I'd prefer to stick with decimal system myself... it's a lot easier.

...but inches are often expressed in a fraction not decimal

3mm isn't much smaller than 1/8th of an inch lol.
    1/8th is 3.2mm
    What's .2mm like 1/64th? if not more.

I tried messaging them on instagram when they posted the walk around video and I saw it. Never got a reply back though :(
Hopefully they have some news about it soon. Only thing from the new products I'm really interested in.

Also only thing that caught my eye. Hopefully fits us 2nd Gen guys, the skid plates are usually backward compatible.

I'm pretty disappointed Toyota didn't make a beefed up rated recovery point on the TRD Off road.

Surprised all the aftermarket vendors haven't jumped on that yet.
    Allpro, RCI, C4Fab, BAMF etc
No one's made a rated recovery part yet, at least not that I've seen.

Yes I wonder if it is because of the crush zone, and if arb figured out how to bridge that. will be very interested to hear if so. maybe someonen who was at Sema asked ?

Actually, it's pretty common to use decimals to express inches when dealing with machines. Often 0.001" inches is often called "a thousandth" or "a mil"

The conversion is 25.4mm per inch.

I'm in canada, we use metric for everything...or at least we're supposed to. We often end up using imperial a lot as well since we trade with the US so much. Most nuts and bolts I usually see are imperial. But when it comes to measurements always metric.
