hey guys! Was recommended to join here by a friend, purchased a 2014 4Runner Trail over the weekend. Love how smooth and quiet it is. Plans are to drive it as is for a bit but I will be lifting and doing wheels and tires eventually. This is my first 4x4 so I'm excited to test its capabilities.

    Welcome & congrats Matt.

I've had a few T4Rs. Love'em. I got my first out of necessity because I needed something I could haul extra peeps, a dog or 2 and luggage (in a protected environment). I didn't care for & still not a huge fan of it's appearance in any trim level while stock. And of course having always owning trucks (everything from a PowerStroke SuperDuty to standard cab tacomas) as my DD I dreaded an SUV. But the T4R is a body on frame and after racking up some mile concluded it is a quality vehicle.

I'm sure you'll be very happy with it.

Thank you! The body on frame was a major reason i went with the T4R, I was originally looking at Tacomas but coming from a GMC Sierra 1500 ccsb if i was going with another truck, I wouldn't be happy with the size of the tacomas. And as an avid mountain biker the idea of keeping my gear inside with me and still having room for buddies made the T4R an option. And after test driving a few i fell in love. And it'll get better mileage than the truck
Here's a couple photos of my truck (which my girl now drives) and my bike if there's any other riders out there

And just for giggles ill throw in one of my old Taco from a few years back

    Nice nice

Ya man there's other bikers. There's even a thread for it. I'm riding a Cannondale at the moment.

Awesome, I'm actually looking to sell my '03 Taco and picked up a low-mileage 4Runner so I can fit the family in and still hit the OSV area at Assateague National Seashore. Interested in a slow build of the 4Runner.
