It is so weird. It does not vibrate at all taking off from a dead stop. Perfectly smooth. It is only when slowing down. I just drove it and put it in 4h back and forth and it did not change. I would stop and then take off. No vibration then let off, then there it is. But it feels like it is the tires. Just like knobby tires. You can almost here it.

I tried the aggressive braking that was suggested and it didn’t help. Still have the vibration. When I took the truck into dealership last week I ask them to turn rotors and balance all 4 tires. They did and vibration is still there.

Yeah I think you are right I filed a case with Toyota also. I think the more complaint claims filed, the better chance Toyota will come up with a TSB to fix it. Really sucks, I love the truck just want the vibration fixed.

I just had my ‘18 with 3400 miles in due to the shit surging, and complained about the braking, told them it not the rotors bc I don’t feel it in the steering...
ultimately i wasn’t given the TSB for surging, they did nothing about the vibration, but did make a note under the vin, whatever the Fu$k that means. Have appt at another dealer Tuesday so I’ll press them on this again.

I had a vibration during highway speed braking in my '18. It felt like warped rotors but from the back end of the truck, it was definitely not normal and I was concerned at first but now that the truck's at 3k miles, its completely gone. I actually didn't notice when it stopped but braking is smooth and vibration free.

My VIN seems to fall into the TSB range, so we’ll see what the dealer says.

Axles were within spec, but rear drums were out of round. Problem solved...braking is now smooth as butter.

Is the vibration present when braking with the truck in neutral?

My truck was doing this until the dealer rotated the tires at the 5k mile service. It hasn't been a problem for me after that. My guess is that the drums were out of round and wore in. There might have been a tire balance issue that contributed to the problem.

Could be your driver side CV needle bearing. I had this vibe and then replaced that stupid needle bearing with the ECGS clamshell bushing and it is gone now. Hope this helps...FYI its common on these trucks

I have a 2018 TRDOR 6spd MT and mine has been doing it since new. Got about 1300 miles now. Mentioned it to the dealer and salesman acted like they would fix it but going to try and take it in Monday.

Check rotors and brake pads, it could be a sticking caliper and you can also try to bleed the brake lines.

Luckily no problems with mine. My last Ram 3500, a 2017, had a horrible vibration...so I got rid of it. I hear Ford SuperDutys are also having a bad vibration issues and no fix yet.
