Well, I fixed my problem. They put the tapered blocks in backwards when they installed my lift. It was affecting the pinion angle on the driveshaft & caused the vibration. I don’t think a lot of you have my issue, but mine started instantly when I got my lift put on & it instantly went away when they flipped the spacers. Just figured I’d throw this in here for anyone that was like me & was looking for an answer to their issue. I searched the threads for hours at a time & never found anything.

For the best, there's something wrong & can't blame nobody for trying to get it fixed while under warranty

I should have my case officer my Monday. The fix they did last week only introduced other braking problems. Now it brakes all squirrelly like my 1972 GMC pickup truck if I have to brake hard (like on I-24 with crazy people slamming on their brakes). The tranny issue is obviously not solved.

    Disappointing.

Tried everything the corporate route. No fix. Sold the truck because of this problem and transmission disappointment. Sad.

I opened a case with Toyota and the truck is back in for the brakes. Maybe getting Toyota involved will be helpful.

After helping my sister move recently, I can now confirm no vibrations with several hundred pounds of stuff in the bed.

I dropped off my truck yesterday to get the new swerving issue investigated. I heard nothing all day so I called the dealer. My service manager gets on the phone and states that they were able to replicate the swerving issue and it’s definitely a problem.

After some investigation they discovered my front passenger brake caliper was hydrolocked (seized) in the engaged position. They should have the part in the morning and will fix it tomorrow.

I’m probably getting a Tundra this weekend.

That’s the rub right now. I’ll probably lose about $4k for the three months I’ve owned it.

So my vibration came back after having the axels replaced. Took another drive with the shop foreman and he confirmed it is there so back in the shop it goes in a couple weeks. This time they have no ideas but they are going to try to figure it out which is better then them doing nothing.

Funny you say that. I’m pretty sure mine does it still, too, but my front caliper issue was worse.

TSB performed yesterday with new leaf spring packs and steering stabilizer. Not only is the vibration worse now, but it happens constantly at 20mph or lower (no brakes). Disappointing for sure. Hoping to get back to the dealer today. Opening a corporate case as well. Not looking great for this truck. May be moving to Tundra of 4Runner. Sucks for sure.
