Hello, I purchased 4 new 5100 Bilstein shocks for my 2004 Tacoma, The rear install went all good.

Can I use the original coils? and before I start the front, The front Bilsteins didn't come with a coil seat or top. Can I use the original hardware?

Depends on the condition of those parts.

    Miles on vehicle?

Type of miles (pavement cruising vs harsh off roading)

Environment the truck has lived in (everything is pretty rust free, vs living in a salt state)

But as a guess, on a 16yo vehicle, they are likely worth replacing.

2004, 190,000 miles, Before I purchased did a carfax and the Tacoma lived in Puerto Rico before making it to Miami. The vehicle looks good underneath, but I’m going to take your advise and replace the coil. Any recommendations on coils? I want to keep the vehicle level. When I purchase new springs will it come with a new spring seat and spring top?

My suggestion would be to call Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road and work with her to order up the parts you need.

Knowledge and fair pricing are their mainstays.

Good Afternoon, I'm thinking of replacing the brakes on my 2004 Tacoma, The front brakes have disc and the rear are drums. I don't know the history but i'm assuming the calipers are the original should I upgrade to a better system and if so anyone have any suggestions? I want to do the same for the rear drums. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
