In a short while I will be living near Bellingham and will be done with Kirkland.

The service advisor wasn't a complete ass, they just seemed incompetent. He said they didn't even want to lube it, because of my mods and the warranty................(WTAF???)

There is a bit of wiggle room in the spec, but also they may have just not adjusted it properly.

Really annoyed by this creak clutch noise. My local dealer is not able to "replicate" the sound and is not wanting to do the TSB. I might just be out of luck in terms of warranty but I did bring this up to their attention well within the warranty period.

Have you tried to grease it yourself yet?

What/where are the grease points ? Are they accessible from the cab ?
I'm asking because, the clutch squeak started happening while my truck was still under warranty. The dealer performed the fix under warranty. It was fine for about two years, but the squeak has since returned and the warranty has expired. So, if it's a simple matter to just apply some grease I'd like to try that.

disk brake grease. get a nitrile or latex glove, two fingers with a wad of the grease and apply to the coil return spring at the top of the pedal arm. be sure to get the grease both outside and inside the coil so the grease penetrates anywhere metal contacts metal within the coil.

that fixed my spring squeak for more than a couple years, but it didn't fix the play and pivot noise well enough though. i had all 3 of those issues.

After about a year and a half my 2017 developed that barn door squeak, i took it in and my dealer performed the TSB, about a year and a half later, the squeak came back, so i've just been greasing it every oil change and no issues since. Get under the dash, push the pedal down slowly and look up there, you'll see a few 'pivot' points where rubbing and the joints could cause potential noise, just dab some brake grease on there (a few members here found thats the best solution since it holds up to the high heat temps which seemingly is when the noise starts to happen for me is summer)

    Hope that helps!

For me, i noticed my noise was coming more from the piston than the spring assembly

interesting. my squeak came from the return spring, i actually removed it for a few months and it was silent without it. while that spring was off i began to get pivot groaning and play. at that point i was looking at other options, this plastic crap has to go. i do get some normal minor piston noise, nothing weird.

I noticed some sticky, black residue on the M/C shaft. It cleaned up pretty easy. I can't remember if there was noise coming from it, but it was pretty easy to clean. You could put nearly any lubricant on the shaft (Astroglide? :D) as it is sealed on the far side. The lube would only help where is passes through the rubber dust cover.

All parts of the clutch are internal to the cab. The inlet fluid feed line and the outlet pressurized line are the only external parts.
