Ok. . So my truck has 379, xxx on it. I replaced the stock coils with 880's. Replaced the stock rear leafs with non HD from General Spring with the Daystar greaseable 1 1/4" shackle lift. Yes ... Bilsteins in the rear.

5100 in the front set on the middle clip. My question is .. how long before the front end settles? Seems too high in the front... but front and rear are level.

37.5" from the fender flair to the ground. Front and rear. Yes... I know how to use a tape measure

I want add... I had shoulder surgery a couple of weeks ago. I don't need smartass comments. I'm also dealing with ending child support for my kids AND working on my second divorce.

    Judge me!

Pretty sure your not supposed to use the lift settings on the 5100's unless you have stock height springs??? I think that's what I read but you can get away with the .75" setting but no higher.

It was a few months before my 880s settled, but I have the 2.7l. I think the middle notch is 1.25" and top is 2.5".

Bottom notch is no lift, middle is 1.25" and top is 2.5. I'll post pics after I put the new wheels and tires on later this weekend.

Looks aight to me. I'd let it be for a month or two and if it hasn't settled anymore to your liking then get some slightly longer shackles or some .5-.75" lift blocks to keep it simple and cheap. They should fit in without longer U-bolts. But if you go ahead and get something to bring the back end up and it settles you can just as easily swap the parts back out. My OEM shackles were a PITA to get off, the others have been as easy as jacking it up. Blocks would be easier as long as you don't have to swap out U-bolts.

Sorry. .. but I'll give you guys a review or a refresher.

Keep in mind this truck I bought new with 12 miles on it. I now have almost 380, xxx on it.

    Here we go...

Replaced the front coils with 880's. Bilsteins set on the middle notch. 1.25 lift.

Going to the rear... Bilsteins with new STD load leafs. Daystar greaseable 1 1/4" lift shackles.

    TRD bronze wheels 16 x 7.5 with BFG K2 265 75 16 tires.

This thing rides better than new. No wandering. No tin can feel in the suspension. Quite running tires. Smooth and in control. No skating and no hopping on washboard terrain.

I wish I knew how to post pics but im on a cell. Go to my gallery if you want to see. I'll try again to post pics. . Don't expect it though

Thanks Brake... I love this site and have learned a lot. Did my research and pulled the trigger. I knew it was gonna cost $$$. Absolutely worth it. I will add ... the Daystar kit was wrong with the new rubber exhaust hanger. Too short. We had to cut and weld a 2" piece on the tailpipe hanger.

I extended my hanger at first. A few years back I put a custom catback on and had the guy tuck the end up high against the frame and dump down at about 30* or so a few inches from the body.

I'm thinking the silver pin stripes need to turn gold. Or... no stripes at all.
