A tacomaworld newb here and I need some A/C help…. I have a 2015 pre runner 4.0 TRD with 115,000 miles. The a/c quit plowing cold last week. After testing everything, I replaced the compressor clutch assembly today with OEM Toyota parts and I now have ice cold air again. My problem is that when I turn on the A/C and the clutch engages, the NEW clutch is now making a chattering or rattling sound. The new clutch assembly didn’t come with any shims so I just used the old shims from the old clutch. Could this be a clearance issue or is my compressor now about to kick the bucket? I don’t even know where to begin looking for this chattering sound. Thanks!
