It is probably my 5th ARE cap , between work and personal trucks. None of them have ever leaked on me.
So I am sticking with what works!
    This is my son's SR5 Access,4cy,automatic.

Nice truck. Does the SR5 come with the "TRD" bed sticker from factory?

How's the SR5 AC I4/AT package working out for you guys? It's one option on my list and I would appreciate any thoughts!

Edit: I forgot to say, looks great with the shell. I'd do the same.

Mine works just fine. I realized I was buying a 4 cylinder so I was not let down by the performance. This is also the 1st Toyota Tacoma I have owned. I'm also not in a hurry to get from point A to point B.

I got the decals on Bay. Good vinyl and factory specs, maybe $25 if I remember right.

The only reason I went with a 4cyl , is because Jr. is 16 [still learning to drive], and I am glad I did.

It is a great engine, very smooth and it should quietly and efficiently go for many years. My other cars are V8 [Sequoia and an SS], so it takes a little getting used to , not a big deal. They are in the 400hp range so yes , I feel a difference.

With the above package , you get all the cool shit- like 4WD ,keyless entry and funky video screen /stereo thing, and more leather.

It also talks to our iPhones, cameras and has blue teeth.

I figure it is as manly and macho ,as a 4cyl truck can get.

We are happy with the purchase. [a recurring theme with Toyota]

Lucky , yes , but he is a great kid. It feels good when they have 'things' that I did not have , at that age.

Works hard, straight A's , and he puts up with 3 teenage sisters without a single complaint.
He earned it , or I should say ,is still earning it.

My uncle is very well off in NYC. His only daughter decided to forego a Columbia full scholarship, instead came out west to UCLA. My uncle bought her a BRAND new Range Rover Autobiography (100k+), as her first car. I was thinking, OMG another Kardashian. She is graduating with a 4.0 straight A from UCLA in Math major and getting ready for med school.

There are some impressive people in the world, that are not spoiled by material things. It is a testament to their parents and upbringing

Cheers to you and your son! :)
