Got some new lights on 2022 and the driver side isn’t flush like the passenger side. I am thinking the bottom clip/peg/whatever proper term didn’t seat at all. So how there is movement on the side.

Has anyone else had this issue or know how to resolve?

Far as I know it could be a defect in the light but not sure. Thanks for any help.

To be fair photo doesn’t do it justice. I tried to upload a video but it won’t work. Here is one I took.

Looks petty good to me... Is it the top you are not happy with? In all fairness it is an aftermarket part so fit will never be 100%

This might help. It is more the movement where you gently push on it. I wonder if I could bend the little piece inside the truck itself so the peg will catch as I try to seat the light.

That looks acceptable to me. If you are unhappy you could try what you suggested, but I fear it may turn out worse.

I am worried about that as well. Not even sure what direction to bend it. I think I over tightened on bolt also so worried to keep removing them. Might make it worse. Just bad OCD and things like this will drive me crazy knowing they aren’t 100%. I do have email out to the company I bought from maybe they can help. Thanks.

Could loosen the bolts and try to hold the lamp where you want it and the tighten it down. There is a very small amount of play in those holes. Worth a shot

Did you happen to see if there was a gap like this with your stock lights? On one of my sides it sits more flush than the other. May just be your truck

i didn’t think you look. Was too excited to install them and it slipped my mind. The gap doesn’t bother me as much as the wiggles from gentle touches. I don’t know if they shake at all while driving. I assume not but can’t tell
