NEW!! All-Pro 05+ Aluminum Rear Bumper

Nice bumper, wish this had been on the market before I bought a steel rear bumper.

Might have to keep this in mind for the future. Just did the lift and will be powder coating skids soon. Gotta save up some cash again.

 

Curious how unsightly the stock hitch would look with the bumper.Really like the bumper and will keep it in mind for the future!

 

Pretty sure if it was demonstrated that the hitch didn't fail you wouldn't be at fault. I have this hitch, it mounts in the same place and is of the virtually the same design at the OEM hitch. The only difference is the receiver is above the crossmember instead of slung below.

 

We have been building hitches since we started in business 20 years ago and have yet to have one cause an accident. We have them on our trucks and use them as well. Our hitches are made with the same material the factory hitches are made with and are USA made. We have been in this business longer that most of the aftermarket manufacturers on Tacoma World and will always stand behind our product.

@allpro Curious how the recovery points strength are? Could you hook up a strap to one and pull another truck out without deforming the bumper, IE are the recovery points tied right into the frame mount points? Wouldnt want to pull something put and suddenly have a bent bumper! First time looking into aluminum armor

So on the website it says that the stock hitch won't work. Does this just mean that it will hang down and look unsightly, or does it mean that the stock hitch can't be used at all with this bumper?

 

Yes. It will. I don't know how many inches but most after market bumpers sit higher up than the stck bumper, as well as have better departure angles, so the stock hitch will just get in the way of offroading and hang down in the way. All Pro offers thier hitch that sits behind the bumper for a pretty low cost IIRC

 

Are the side pieces aluminum also? And do the side pieces look the same as the steel bumper sides?

 

Any plans to make these with swingouts?

 

Thanks. I will be towing a 17' travel trailer and need to retain the stock hitch. I understand that the hitch AP offers is equivalent to the stock one, but I read that it also prohibits a larger tire (I plan on going with 285/75/16's) from fitting in the stock spare location. I need to keep the spare under the truck to keep the bed free for gear storage. Since my truck is mostly going to see highway and towing duties I think I will be alright with the stock hitch hanging down a bit.

 

There a group buy for this?

 

We do offer the side pieces in aluminum. The side pieces do look the same as the steel bumper.

Nice bumper, tempting to match my front AP apex steel bumper. FYI, 4X innovations has a dot hitch on their bumper. Non-aluminum though.

 

Cool bumper. Looks like a nonstarter right out of the gate though. Require a solution that allows for larger tire and higher hitch.
