I was so close to buying this, but then i realized that even with the discount, it will cost minimum 550. Then plus $60? shipping. Then 150 for powder coating. Oh and tax too. over $700 for a bumper. I don't think I'm convinced anymore, unless you guys can persuade me otherwise (which I highly doubt).

And I was so close to pulling the trigger too. I'd rather spend +700 on exploring Kenya in less than a month.

one thought, i do powder coat work for a local shop in my city. And if you all plan on perhaps banging into those stubborn tree stumps or prius's, i suggest jsut rattle can the bumpers. EASY REPAIRS.

our buggy that we built we powder coated the frame crinkle black, and after the first few tips. it started to chip very easy. I'm not trying to have people tell me that our work isnt good enough then, cuz i feel its very good. But if we can get to 15+ im interested. and jsut rattle can her black, that way no worries about it never looking top notch.

A little confused with the hitch, what happens to the stock reciever? Is it removed? relocated under the plate? not to sound stupid but how does that work?

hey also something i should have asked earlier. With the lighted license plate, A) how is it powered? B) is there an easy disconnect? such for when i tow, i have to take the plate off in order for the hitch ball to fit.

i got just a power wire so you'll have to put in some quick disconnects yourself

and yes, you have to replace hitch with all pro hitch b/c the bumper comes with all new brackets

    Hey Sarah,
Do you have an eta on when the side plates will be available? I've been waiting on mine for a few weeks now....:D

Just got the bumper and hitch yesterday.

Anybody wondering about the stoutness of these bumpers can relax. These are very very beefy. The hitch itself has thicker steel than I've ever seen on a Draw-Tite, Reese, etc.

Going to the powder coater today.

Thanks to All Pro for this group buy opportunity!

Hmm you may see my name added to the list shortly. I just purchased a 2010 Black Sand Pearl Toyota Tacoma, short bed, double cab, 4x4, 4.0 liter V6, 5 speed auto, TRD Sports Extra Value Package about a month ago. Slowly getting up to speed on the aftermarket.

    I have a few questions.

    1) Are the wrap around side pieces removeable? Some of the recent conversation seems to indicate so. I'm curious about how robust these would be...

    2) More details on the lighted license plate frame please.

    3) What is the deal with having (or the inability to rather) you powdercoat then ship? Cost? ETA? Even possible right now?

    4) Any possibility that a discount can be applied to other All-Pro components (say Rock Guards) with purchase of All-Pro rear bumper? ;)

    5) Shipping price of rear bumper/hitch to 44321?

    6) And this is for anyone, opinions on black powdercoat vs. attempting to paint match front/rear aftermarket bumper on a Black Sand Pearl truck? I'm not sure what I'd prefer right now.

    7) And what the hell do I do with my stock components? These have any value in the private market? I'm guessing yes since I have the sport package with color matched bumpers...any thoughts on market value.

Thanks for any information. Hopefully I can get these answers ASAP, and I'll think it over tomorrow.
