    Good Question!

We have switched up the cab cage a little and made a set of bed bars so we can have our RTT on a lower center of gravity when rock crawling

We haven't fully welded the cage yet as there may be a few more tweaks - not entirely sure yet. We are also working on a tube style front bumper for this build. We have an FJ in the shop at the moment getting the 3-Link SAS treatment. Once that is complete we can continue to focus on Black Betty.

@allpro Could you cut down the pack rack for the 95-04s to the same height you guys have the bed racks on this build?

Betty looks amazing! I wonder if the exhaust on a 4.0L would get in the way of that upper link? As i'm sure you know most 2nd gen V6 SAS builds go with a passenger side upper link.

The 4cyl header and cats and the whole exaust system is on the passenger side.

Yes. But @09blacktaco was talking specifically about the passenger side. I may be misunderstanding what he is saying but I belive he was asking how the link on the passenger side would work with a v6 and I was just saying both engines have passenger side exaust. Had he said driver side it would be a different case.

So when will this kit be available for a 2008 V6 4Runner?
Will stock brakes carry over or abs?

Looking good! Was wondering since you guys bobbed the bed if the SoftTopper was up for sale from the first pic? Also do you guys know if it would fit underneath a Pack Rack that was above cab height? Thanks!

I don't understand any of the under body modifications which leads to my general amazement of this build. Great truck!

WOW, that really came together. Love the frame height! One of the baddest 05+ tacoma rigs i've seen. Extremely well done and thought out guys!

A little picture to show how far we've really come with this project... In about 3 months, with the addition of 2 other rigs getting the 3 Link SAS treatment in our shop - Black Betty was built into a beast!
